Proceeds from the Kirby Hospital Auxiliary Gift Shop, biannual thrift sales and other fund raising activities are an important source of funding for the hospital. More than two hundred Auxilians help in virtually every aspect of the hospital's daily operation. These dedicated volunteers have purchased monitoring equipment, a machine used for processing X-rays, defibrillators, and much more. The Auxiliary also helps with the Carelink Emergency Response system, provides scholarships for students who seek careers in healthcare, and helps our patients, visitors and staff in countless ways. Through their efforts, Kirby can contain costs and ensure a high level of quality. New members are welcome and a variety of volunteer positions are available.
